My name is Anette Stephens; founder of Deutscher Design – European Design & more.
I was born in Kassel, Germany and grew up in a small town located in Hessen, North Germany.
I graduated from the Kreisberufsfachschule Kassel" - a German college where I honed my business
skills and flavor for design while preparing to bring this love for decorating to the United States.
In 1992 my dream of living in the United States became reality, allowing me to spend some time in
beautiful Kentucky and finally settling in North Carolina. The last sixteen years have been an amazing
experience, not easy, but truly amazing.
I keep in very close contact with the emerging styles in Europe, so that I can introduce these trends to
those having discerning taste for the ultimate in contemporary style.
